Principal’s Welcome
Hi,
I am Evan "H" Hendrix, principal/5-8 grade teacher here at PAS. With 28 years of teaching and administrative experience, I am very excited about the future of PAS!
Let's find out a little bit more about me. I was a 26 year career missionary in Asia and the Central Pacific Islands. I've also taught here in the US. I very much enjoy reading, photography, exercising with my wife, and being out in nature.
On the academic side, I am the biggest fan of my students when they "get it". I am overjoyed when they include me as a mentor-guide in formulating their future ambition and dreams. I am totally beside myself when their ambition begins to form in their minds as a "calling". I've had the profound privilege of witnessing this transformation with eighth graders before graduation!
Lastly, my welcoming story would not be complete without sharing how students inspired to explore their own spiritual journeys and personal growth free from pressure. I believe that nurturing a sense of purpose and values is a vital part of education.
As you surf through our site and perceive how unique we are, I also hope you see that our commitment is to serve a loving God and our students are the recipients of His affection every single day. My hope is that our students are well prepared citizens on earth, but absolute citizens of heaven!
Vision
